Automotive Medium & Light Repair Certificate in Applied Science

This program trains entry-level technicians for the after-sale, routine maintenance sector of the automotive service industry.

Training time required: 12 months

Automotive Fundamentals Certificate

The Automotive Fundamentals certificate provides a fundamental understanding of diagnosis and repair service for the engine, automatic transmission, brake, heating and air conditioning, suspension and steering and electrical systems. The certificate covers all eight areas of ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification.

Training time required: 12 months

Ford Maintenance & Light Repair Certificate

Ford Maintenance and Light Repair students learn theory of operation and diagnosis/repair of Ford automotive brake, electrical, air conditioning, steering and suspension systems.

Training time required: 12 months

Automotive Braking Systems

This certificate will prepare students to work with various braking systems utilized in today’s passenger vehicles.

Training time required: 7 months

Automotive Engine Electrical Systems

This certificate will prepare students to work with various engine electrical systems utilized in today’s passenger vehicles.

Training time required: 7 months

Diesel Equipment Technology Certificate in Applied Science

This program provides students with an understanding of diesel equipment systems with an emphasis on over-the-road trucks.

Training time required: 12 months

Heavy Equipment Auxiliary Systems Certificate in Applied Science

This certificate will provide students with hands-on experience in diagnostic, repair and installation procedures for heavy equipment auxiliary systems.

Training time required: 12 months

Diesel Engine Performance Certificate in Applied Science

This program provides students with hands-on experience in overhaul procedures, timing adjustments, turbocharger matching, exhaust tuning diagnostics and on-board computer reprogramming experience necessary to succeed in today’s diesel engine performance field.

Training time required: 12 months
