Meiden America Switchgear opens in Laurens County

Japan-based Meidensha Corporation is opening its new Meiden America Switchgear manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, Laurens County. The company, with an investment of $8 million and the creation of 41 new jobs, is expanding production of its high voltage vacuum circuit breakers.
