DYK that the first all-female Boy Scouts troop was in Spartanburg, South Carolina? The Girl Rangers was a “rogue, high-adventure” Boy Scouts of America Explorer troop of teenage girls that hiked the Appalachian Trail, paddled more than 1,000 miles of rivers + climbed some of the highest peaks in the Smokies on horseback.
