Food Scene

Easley may be a small town, but its food offerings are anything but diminutive. Residents can find fresh, local produce and artisan products at the Easley Farmers Market, voted the best produce market in the county, during the summer, or at all-natural goods shop The Farmacy all year-round. Local dining favorites include Two Bros Pizza, founded by, you guessed it, two brothers, and Joe’s Ice Cream Parlor, which has been described as the “most American diner you’ve ever been to.” Looking for your new go-to brunch spot? Look no further than Serendipity Cafe, which is known for its satisfying Sunday brunch menu and sweet treats like lemon-berry mascarpone cake. Right next door, you’ll find The Pint Station for craft beer and wine with a daily variety food trucks. If you’re looking to spice things up, visit Bleu Voodoo Grill. Residents and visitors of Easley enjoy the area’s small-town vibe and vibrant cultural atmosphere. Easley welcomes thousands of visitors for its annual Upper South Carolina State Fair at the Greenville-Pickens Speedway every September. Year-round attractions include Circa Makers and Merchants, a curated shop of local art, handmade gifts and unique antiques in historic downtown Easley, and the Foothills Playhouse at the Historic West End Hall. Foothills Playhouse is Easley’s community theatre that provides live family-friendly education and entertainment, with recent plays including Elf the Musical Jr., Charlotte’s Web and Willy Wonka. Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Easley is a scenic town that offers residents and visitors with a handful of outdoor activities, thanks to its close proximity to waterfalls, hiking trails and lakes. One outdoor activity unique to the area is the Doodle Trail, a 7.5-mile multi-use trail between the cities of Easley and Pickens suited for biking, walking, running, rollerblading and more.

Residents of Easley don’t need to travel far for quality hiking trails. Table Rock is less than 20 miles from Easley and boasts 3,083 acres of mountain country and 94 standard campsites. The park’s hiking trails pass by mountain streams and waterfalls on the way to the top of Pinnacle and Table Rock mountains.

Easley’s love for sports dates back to the old textile baseball league, which drew 10,000 fans each game. Today, Easley proudly boasts the 104-acre JB “Red” Owens Sports Complex, the historic home of the Big League Baseball World Series.
